I come from a family of teachers, and I believe it’s CRITICAL that information security professionals take time to give back to the community through education.
Over the years, I’ve shared what I’ve learned at dozens of information security conferences and professional group chapter meetings, both domestically and internationally. While most of my public speaking engagements are in the US, I’ve also conducted private training for clients in Canada, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
I offer multiple training courses through MIS Training Institute, including public seminars, in-house training, and one-day workshops at MISTI conferences. I’ve also taught the Security Architecture class for the Central Ohio ISSA CISSP Prep Class.
You can head on over to ExpertFile for a partial list of my past speaking engagements, and you can visit my SlideShare profile to download some of the slide decks. While you’re at it, swing by Hacker Hotshots and check out the 20-minute recorded version of my Information Security Management 101 presentation.
If you’re looking for someone who can offer practical guidance on information security topics, drop me a line. I’d love to help out.
